The scorpion is done!!

So i stared with painting the entire carapace Mephiston red, took 2 solid coats to get a nice coverage

here is were it would be better to paint it in sub assembly but i wanted to see it completed as soon as possible. ;) ADD kicking in hehehe

Then i proceeded to give the underside a coat of ledbelcher. Then i washed the recesses of the red with nuln oil, and went over the metallic parts as well. 

I then went over some parts with agrax earthshade as well to give it an oily look.

After that was done it then came to my least favorite part of painting chaos machines... the trim :O

it looks awesome when done but it so much that can go wrong (and they did) and its super time consuming as well :(

Then i washed the bronze trims with agrax and highlighted it with runefang steel.

after that was done i added some blood to the claws and the tail, also but some on a toothbrush and sprinkled blood all over :) hard to see on the pictures though ;(

Painted the people that are trapped in the cabling with Bugmans glow, then cadian flesh, washed with rekland flesh shade then highlighted with cadian flesh again. 

I really like that there are people trapped in it ^^ 

Until he is fielded he will be guarding the booze ;D
