Counter the Jet bikes!
Since my last game against the Eldar (with tuned down bikes, ie only having cannons)
i began to think on how i will be able to counter them in the future, last game is were lucky getting many buffs to my serviceability and its not something i can count on every game.
What cant the jet bikes touch? AV13 and above!
what is the most awesome model in the Chaos Daemon/Daemonkin arsenal?
Soul grinders and Brass scorpions!
having skyfire on the grinders make them awesome against the flyers that carry the D and the ignore cover blast from the scorpion that he can shoot from a fairly good distance is awesome as well!
all you have to fear are those pesky fire dragons, but knowing that they will appear on the battlefield they should be a priority.
the one thing in the eldar weaponry that can hurt it is the Lance weapons, and they are one shot weapons. And with "it will not die" plus the 5+ daemon save it has a pretty high chance of neglecting the hull point caused by the lance :)
the only thing a scorpion needs to fear are the D.... that pesky D.. not sure how to counter those yet, maybe keeping your super heavy in reserve keeping it out of harms way until they have deepstruck.
Good thing that we play with the nerfed D (2-5 is D2 hull points, and 2 hull points/wounds on a roll of 6)
you know what sucks? Me not having either a Brass Scorpion or a Soul grinder!
That needs to be changed ASAP!
The Misses is having a Birthday this month so money is tight but i think she would appreciate a Brass scorpion as a gift, wouldn't you?
That is the Reason keeping me from going all Daemonkin, the lack of Khorne models that i could spawn when the blood points stack up.
so what i need to purchase, A soul grinder, a Brass scorpion and a Skull cannon!
