The Final list.



Here is my list that i will bring this weekend, the sad thing is that i only got to try it out 2 times before the tournament but i hope i got the gist of it. I'm at least not unfamiliar with the game.

What i have left to paint isn't much, just to put some matt varnish on the decals on the rhinos and that's about it.

I have 2 more razorbacks coming in and according to GW homepage they should arrive tomorrow and im thinking of building at least one of them so i don't need to bring the old 2nd edition rhino i got for free over 10 years ago ^^




1850 Battle company


Vulkan  Needs no explanation, im playing salamanders, i he must be in the list even if a chapter master would be a better choice.

Chaplain Jump pack pfist - He is going with the assault marines and either hang back protecting the backfield or try to take out some infiltrators or an unprotected flank. with him its 28 s4 attack with re-roll and 3 s8 attacks at i1.

6 devestators 4 grav cannons drop pod -  remembering that these guys have salvo weapons its still 8 grav shots that i can make twin linked is still capable of killing of key units before the enemy has the time to react, and they dont need to come in with the pod either, but if they do i get to pick were they are most effective during the game.

3 Centurions, grav och bolters omniscope - No brainer, these guys will make a great "don't come here bubble and i hope there will be some great terrain features i can put them in so they don't get shot to bits every game.. i might need to roll on strategic warlord traits and hope for the infiltrate one... or i can use the tanks to protect them. Ill figure it out ^^

5 tactical lascannon razorback w Lascannon - reason for the lascannon is because i bought it used and the lascannons were glued on...

10 tactical multi melta, melta gun, combi melta. Rhino - These should combat squad, race up grab the relic, 5 guts get back in the rhino and the other 5 keeps it safe from attackers by blocking units trying to get to it.

6 assault marines jump pack melta bombs - with chaplain

7 assault marines plasma pistol, 2 flamers melta bombs Drop pod - these will come in first or second depending on the enemy, having the power to open most of the tanks rear armor with ease or frying some unprotected units will make them a great precision tool. Also Vulkan rides with them.

5 scouts melta bombs - I'm thinking infiltrate with one or two and outflank with one unit depending on the opponent. if there is some nice LoS blocking terrain ( as it should be ) these can jump out and blow up a vehicle first turn for some annoyance.

That is 71 bodies with t4 and 3 with t5, 3 lascannons, 7 grav cannons, 2 missile launcers, 2 melta guns, 2 combi melta, 1 combi plasma, 5 melta bombs, 2 heavy bolters, 2 flamers 1 heavy flamer and some plasma. 

3 razorbacks and 3 rhinos (i can change those to 5 razorbacks if needed but i think beeing able to shoot from the hatch is really good) 

the thing i fear is Eldar and Imperial knights, a buddy of mine is bringing 4 of them and i hope i don't get paired up with him.
